Well, the term is in full swing now, and I'm as good as definite about moving out into a shared house with friends next academic year. Two of us went and copied down the details from the Student Union's Accommodation Office bulletin boards of houses that were the right size for the number of us living there, then bought a map to find out where they all were. They're all pretty much right in the centre of the university's sprawling lands, so that's good - closer to the union means closer to where interesting things happen. A friend remarked that one of the lecturers we had today looked "born to lecture about Quantum Mechanics" and I have to agree - he really did have that nerdy quality about him. It's very odd how people seem built for a certain job. I wonder what job I'm built for. Hope it's writing, 'cause I like that. Dunno if I'm any good at it, though. Ah well, when Death Man and Unholy Crusade are released, maybe someone will e-mail me and say whether I'm built for writing or not.... While I'm on the subject of writing, I had another idea for a comic that may be good. I'm getting quite a few ideas right now but this is the first one in a while that may be useable in a stip, instead of being either pathetic or only useable as a story within another strip. I'll have to see about developing it and releasing it here. |
