"Now type make and pray"

That's not a good sign that a program will compile correctly, in my opinion. Nevertheless, I tried compiling it. Lo and behold, it didn't compile! What a surprise. Gave up after three attempts and went to download the RPM for this troublesome program (X-Chat 1.6.3, in case you're wondering).

Well, with the program now installed I fire it up and have a look. It's hardly changed from an aesthetics point of view - which is a good thing, I think. Runs much faster though, which was the reason I upgraded. Overall, I'm pleased.

Would have liked it to have compiled from source, though.
