Diary Entry For: Monday the 11th of September 2000

I can't believe how late it was when I eventually got out of bed today - 12:55pm! Admittedly, I'd gone to bed at about 3am but that's not abnormal for me in itself so getting up this late was a shock. I must set my alarm...

Anyway, because I got up so late my plans for today were somewhat disturbed. At least I didn't have a hangover from last night though, when I'd gone out with some friends and a couple of people we used to be friends with but drifted apart because one was a git and the other was just annoying. Strangely enough they were okay last night and we all had a pretty good time. I got home later than normal then sat and watched 4 episodes of 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' on a video I'd lent from a friend in exchange for me lending him 'Crush' by Bon Jovi (so don't expect a review of it anytime soon! >:)).

I'm sitting here trying to think of something else to write because if I don't have anything else here it's going to be a short entry. Not that that's bad in itself (after all if there's nothing else to write then filling space with mindless waffle like this is pointless) but I'm sure there's been something else that's happened....

Ah, yes. Dad's been renovating the bathroom. The finishing touches were supposed to go in today: a light above the new mirror and a new extraction fan which comes on when the main light goes on. However, in order to get the fan to stay on 4 minutes after the light goes off (so any moisture in the air is removed from the room) something I can't remember has to be present in the light. It's normal for it to be there but because the house is so old it's not. Dad's not happy - he has to mess about with the wiring in the house now. >:).

I'm not happy either - he's going to want to turn the electricity off while I'm doing something that needs electricity. It always works like that. >:(.
